It came to my attention I have neglected my blog far to long. As always I tend to forget to update the blog whenever I’m busy doing other things. One of the things I have been busy with is my new computer. As mentioned in this blog I was working on transforming my old case to a new case. I’m happy to report that I actually got the whole setup working (despite some iitial memory problems which have been solved) and it is quite stable.

It sure is a major improvement over the old computer in terms of memory (8Gb) and speed (Quadcore). Not to mention I installed it with Windows 7 64bit and I have to admit I’m quite happy with this. Despite the normal hiccups, like old hardware not being supported and the quest for new drivers, I managed to get around 95% of my setup working again. Only thing left is the webcam which isn’t supported anymore by Logitech. There will be no more drivers for the hardware so I’m hoping to find a generic driver pretty soon.
