Perhaps you have noticed the lack of updates over the past few weeks. I know I’m not a regular posting kind of type but nearly a month without me blogging is a bit rare. Let me assure you it does have a good reason. The last couple of weeks I have been working on a redesign of my blog layout.

Although the current layout is pretty much working it is based upon an old WordPress template called Freshy theme (by Jide) and I modified this template during the time I was just discovering WordPress. That means none of the cool stuff from 2.6/2.7 is actually in there, I cannot use widgets for example, and the code is uhmm… messy to say the least (This is my fault ).

So when I stumbled upon the updated version of the Freshy theme, nicely dubbed Freshy 2, I found it was time to change the layout a bit. So I started hacking away, creating new images, trying new color schemes and adding a rotating header with some of my images. Currently the template is about 95% done, I still have to do some minor things and some cleaning up of the css code. The latter will probably take a while so be on the lookout for a completely revamped version of my blog, this time based upon the Freshy 2 theme.
